We are seeking a dedicated and professional Guest Services Associate to join our hotel team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities designed to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Greet guests warmly, manage check-ins and check-outs, and issue room keys.
- Reservations & Billing: Handle phone and email bookings, process payments, and balance cash drawers.
- Communication: Answer phone calls and provide information regarding hotel facilities, local attractions, and services.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints, service requests, and maintenance issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordination: Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are prepared for guests and report any maintenance issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required; a degree in hospitality is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service or hotel front desk experience is often preferred.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with hotel management software (PMS), and computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Attributes: Exceptional customer service orientation, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor.
