As an Engine Shop Engineer, you will provide valuable technical support for the entire engine maintenance process, which includes disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and testing. You will collaborate closely with our internal departments and engine manufacturers to find effective repair solutions, playing a major role in technical investigations and engineering reports.

Your Tasks

  • Lead and support technical failure investigations, root cause analysis, and problem-solving initiatives within the engine maintenance process.
  • Provide technical expertise for engine maintenance and piece part repairs, ensuring compliance with EASA Part 145 and our internal quality standards while balancing commercial and economic considerations.
  • Assess, interpret, and integrate OEM technical data and customer requirements into work procedures to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with OEMs and vendors to improve repairability, reliability, and overall performance of engine components.
  • Act as the key interface between internal stakeholders, engine manufacturers, and customers, participating in product conferences and technical discussions.
  • Develop, define, and continuously improve maintenance concepts, technical standards, reliability analysis, and maintenance programs for CFM56 and PW4000 engines.

Your Profile

  • Education (Young professionals): University or FH (Master/Bachelor), HF.
  • First experience in Aviation/Engine MRO and/or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (Level C1) and German (Level C1).
