We are seeking a skilled EDI Business Analyst to support our international client in migrating approximately 500 EDI connections from SAP PI to SAP CPI. The client has developed a framework and established the Idocs but requires expertise to ensure the compatibility of EDI Seeburger mapping.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the EDI Business Analyst for the migration project.
• Support the client in migrating around 500 EDI connections from SAP PI to SAP CPI.
• Analyze and document business requirements for EDI and SAP integration services across customers, suppliers, and logistics.
• Convert requirements into functional specifications, mapping, and interface design.
• Coordinate the onboarding of trading partners.
• Collaborate with the SAP functional team, technical integration team, and EDI providers.
• Support the design and configuration of SAP Idocs integration and middleware flows.
• Coordinate testing phases.
• Maintain technical and business documentation, including process flow and mapping.
• Provide subject matter expertise in EDI standards, process controls, and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong project experience in EDI projects.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
• Extensive experience with EDI Seeburger.
• Project experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
• Hands-on experience with EDIFACT, Tradacoms, XML, and ANSI X12 standards.
• Experience with B2B communication protocols (AS2, SFTP/FTP, and X.400).
• Background in migration projects from SAP PI to SAP CPI.
• Experience across OTC, supply chain, logistics, and FI processes.
• Strong experience in testing, cutover, and support.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Project experience in international settings, particularly for European businesses.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.

Project Details

Workload: 5 days per week
Remote Work: Mainly remote, with occasional on-site work in Germany (1-2 times per quarter).
