Position: ECS System Engineer

Location: Lucerne, Switzerland

Contract: Permanent, full-time position

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate ECS system integration and interfaces with engineering teams (Airworthiness, Avionics, Power Plant, Electrical, and Safety) as well as with suppliers.
• Create and assess certification documents (reports, test plans/results), ensuring hardware and software compliance with DO-160G, DO-178C, and DO-254 standards.
• Define and support integrated rig testing for Avionics and ECS controllers.
• Actively support test campaigns by troubleshooting ECS controllers and system integration.
• Attend design reviews, technical workshops, and assist the team in discussions with Airworthiness Authorities.

Our Ideal Candidate Should Have:

• In-depth knowledge of aircraft ECS systems (ATA 21).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft system engineering, focusing on DO-160G, DO-178C, and DO-254 qualification.
• Proven ability to independently prepare and review certification documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive communication abilities.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level, both verbal and written).
