QA Documentation Specialist / Batch Record Reviewer (German-speaking)
Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients in both the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is seeking a QA Documentation Specialist for a contract position until the end of 2026, with the option for extension, in the Valais area of Switzerland. This is an on-site position.
The ideal candidate will ensure that batches are produced according to established procedures and regulatory requirements. Reviewers must possess exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing processes they will be reviewing.
Main Responsibilities
- Review paper-based executed batch records within the specified timeframe.
- Track, report, and monitor batch record review and other relevant critical metrics to ensure timely batch release.
- Initiate meetings with operations to address observations in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship required.
- Professional experience in a GMP production environment, quality procedures, and SOP execution.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Preferred areas of study include Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or an equivalent scientific degree.
- Experience in batch record review is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of GMP experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Business fluent in German is a MUST; English proficiency is preferred.
