QA Documentation Specialist / Batch Record Reviewer (German-speaking)

Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients in both the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is seeking a QA Documentation Specialist / Batch Record Reviewer for a contract position until the end of 2026 (with an option for extension) in the Valais area, Switzerland. This position requires on-site presence.

The role involves ensuring that batches are produced properly, in accordance with procedures and regulatory requirements. Reviewers must possess excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing processes they are reviewing.

Main Responsibilities:

• Review paper-based executed batch records within the specified timeframe.
• Track, report, and monitor batch record review and other relevant critical metrics to ensure on-time batch release.
• Facilitate meetings regarding operations-related observations in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU Citizenship is required.
• Professional experience in a GMP production environment, quality procedures, and SOP execution.
• Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Areas of study may include Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or an equivalent scientific discipline.
• Experience in batch record review is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of GMP experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Business fluent in German is a MUST; proficiency in English is preferred.
