Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality research in the field of strategic communication.
  • Complete a dissertation within four years.
  • Attend academic conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Collaborate on existing projects and develop new initiatives with the Strategic Communication & Media Management team.
  • Research and teach in innovative areas of strategic communication and related fields.
  • Teach one class per semester relevant to your research interests in our BA programs.
  • Participate in further academic qualifications.
  • Handle organizational and administrative tasks.

Your Profile

  • Excellent Master's degree in Communication Science or a related field.
  • Strong interest in strategic communication and fields such as organizational communication, corporate communication, public relations, or investor relations.
  • High affinity for topics including artificial intelligence, sustainability, management, strategy, public affairs, finance, or related areas.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis (e.g., content analysis, surveys, experiments, interviews); initial experience in computational methods is a plus.
  • Proficient in R and/or Python.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
  • A scientific and open mindset, with a meticulous and reliable work ethic, ability to work independently, strong collaborative skills, and excellent time and project management capabilities.
  • Willingness to relocate to Zurich and travel internationally to connect with relevant scientific communities.
