Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality research in the field of strategic communication.
  • Complete a dissertation in four years.
  • Attend academic conferences and publish in relevant academic journals.
  • Collaborate on existing projects and develop new initiatives with team members in Strategic Communication & Media Management.
  • Research and teach innovative topics in strategic communication and related areas.
  • Teach one class per semester aligned with your research interests within our BA programs.
  • Engage in further academic qualifications.
  • Manage organizational and administrative tasks.

Your Profile

  • Possess an excellent Master's degree in Communication Science or related fields.
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in strategic communication and its subfields, including organizational communication, corporate communication, public relations, and investor relations.
  • Have a high affinity for topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, management, strategy, public affairs, finance, or similar areas.
  • Experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis (e.g., content analysis, surveys, experiments, interviews) is required; familiarity with computational methods is a plus.
  • Proficient in R and/or Python.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Exhibit a scientific mindset, meticulous work ethic, ability to work independently, a flair for collaborative projects, and excellent time and project management skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to Zurich and travel internationally to engage with relevant scientific communities.
