Your Role in the Technology Department
As a member of our technology department, you will collaborate closely with development engineers to prepare new component designs for prototype testing and production. Your participation in design reviews will be vital as you implement feedback from testing and product teams to continuously enhance component designs and associated processes. Furthermore, you will support the generation of geometry for investigating new components in numerical simulations.
Your Responsibilities
- Technical Contribution: Design turbomachinery components, including drawings, in accordance with specifications and standard processes. Contribute to design reviews and verification, modifying designs as necessary.
- Documentation: Create thorough documentation for the correct implementation of components by product divisions.
- Planning & Control: Adhere to work plans within your area of responsibility, ensuring quality deliverables are completed on time.
- Technical Coordination & Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate communication with various internal teams related to specific project design assignments or meetings.
- Processes and Tools: Utilize standard processes and tools while assisting in the development of new processes and tools for technical solutions.
Your Background
- Completed apprenticeship in construction/design engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in the field of mechanical design.
- Experience in creating technical documentation.
- Knowledge of design and layout processes for thermal turbomachinery components is a plus.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD/CAE design tools (preferably CATIA V5, V6/Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE).
- Experience in macro programming or creating parametric CAD models is a plus.
- Familiarity with current ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Proactive and responsible, with a precise and open-minded personality.
- Strong time management skills and a self-motivated work ethic.
- Fluency in both German and English.
