Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly professional to provide exceptional service and advice to our guests regarding the hotel’s offerings, other Seiler Hotels, and the beautiful destination we call home.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide information to hotel guests and assist with any issues they may encounter.
• Manage incoming and outgoing luggage, including storage of items such as skis, in collaboration with the ski manager, and issue corresponding receipts.
• Complete various types of reservations, including hotels, restaurants, ski instructors, mountain guides, hairdressers, rental cars, taxi and flight transfers, as well as train and plane seats.
• Oversee the circulation of internal and external mail, as well as parcel post, ensuring smooth mail transfer for arriving and departing guests.
• Coordinate all luggage transfers from the train station or taxi stand to guest rooms and back, working closely with chauffeurs, coachmen, receptionists, welcome staff, and housekeepers.
• Effectively manage promotional materials, including LHW and Swiss Deluxe brochures, as well as Zermatt Tourism leaflets.
• Act as the first point of contact in case of emergencies, including fire evacuation procedures and coordination during fire alarms and lift failures.
• Run various errands for guests upon request to meet their desired needs.
• Ensure timely and accurate forwarding of instructions and messages (including mail and attendance information).
• Monitor cleaning and work schedules of ski lift operators to maintain efficiency.
• Manage inventory of various items and hygiene products, including games, cards, table tennis rackets, toothbrushes, shaving kits, as well as adapters and transformers.
• Oversee the fireplace in the hall and manage the cloakroom and luggage storage for guest convenience.
• Ensure guest safety and verify key issuance for individuals unknown to our staff.
