Product Owner - 4 Month Contract Role - Remote (EU)

On behalf of one of our partners, RED is seeking a skilled Product Owner for a new AI initiative. This is a full-time, 4-month contract position with the opportunity for extension. The contract is set to commence as soon as possible and is fully remote within Europe.

Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of Digital Centre of Excellence initiatives that focus on:

• AI
• Automation
• Knowledge Management
• Enterprise Digital Solutions

You will collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders to:

• Shape requirements
• Define priorities
• Manage product backlogs
• Transform strategic objectives into actionable deliverables

Your efforts will drive Agile delivery across cross-functional teams, support solution adoption, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure that digital products yield measurable business outcomes and long-term value.

Desired Skills

• Agile product ownership & backlog management
• Agile delivery (Scrum / SAFe) and product development lifecycle
• Experience in writing epics, features, user stories & acceptance criteria
• Strong business analysis & requirements gathering capability
• Robust stakeholder management & workshop facilitation experience
• Process improvement & solution design expertise
• Delivery leadership & cross-functional team coordination
• Roadmap planning, prioritization & value realization
• Experience in risk, dependency & change management
• Strong understanding of AI & Generative AI (LLMs, Copilots & Agentic AI)
• Familiarity with enterprise search, knowledge management & RAG concepts
• Experience with digital transformation & automation initiatives
• Strong understanding of Cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
• Hands-on experience with AI, automation, low-code, or digital platforms (desirable)
