Join Our International M&A Practice in Zurich

We are seeking an exceptionally well-qualified and innovative individual (m/f/d) to join our expanding international M&A practice in Zurich. If you enjoy collaborating on cross-border projects and advising our multinational clients with commitment and professional expertise, we want to hear from you. You will work closely with colleagues from various countries and contribute your ideas in a dynamic, international environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory services and support in cross-border M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and negotiations.
• Draft and review share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, investment agreements, joint venture agreements, and other corporate/commercial documents.
• Coordinate with internal specialists and external partners (e.g., tax advisors, auditors), including partners and associates across the firm's global network.
• Manage multi-jurisdictional corporate restructurings.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.

What You Bring

• A completed law degree (or equivalent qualification) and preferably qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales or a similar jurisdiction, with a strong command of English corporate and commercial law.
• At least eight years of professional experience in M&A or corporate law, gained at leading global law firms, complemented by in-house experience at listed or multinational companies; additional experience in London and Greater China is advantageous.
• Strong experience in private M&A transactions, including cross-border M&A, divestments, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations/carve-outs; exposure to general commercial agreements is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage complex multi-jurisdictional deals, particularly corporate reorganizations and carve-outs, from inception to completion.
• A keen interest in and extensive background advising on cross-border life sciences (pharma/biotech/medical device) and tech-related transactions.
• A strong academic record (magna/summa cum laude/first-class honors).
• Fluency in English, with excellent command of Mandarin Chinese.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style; analytical thinking.
• A strong team player with a high degree of initiative, demonstrating experience in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across various jurisdictions.
• A strong drive and willingness to learn, demonstrated project/transaction management skills, and a strong service orientation.
