Job Description: Housekeeping Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Housekeeping Team Leader to join our energetic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, training, and motivating the housekeeping staff to maintain our high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing, training, and motivating the housekeeping team to meet and exceed service standards.
• Conduct regular training sessions on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest service expectations.
• Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and professionalism.
• Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Address guest complaints related to cleanliness, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with ordering, managing, and controlling housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Ensure proper stock levels of cleaning materials, linens, and guest amenities.
• Track and report inventory usage to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Assist with planning and coordinating housekeeping schedules to optimize staff efficiency.
• Monitor and manage daily work schedules for housekeepers and room attendants.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of housekeeping equipment.
• Address all guest requests related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
• Communicate effectively with other departments, including Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle special requests and VIP guest needs to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations by the housekeeping team.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all housekeeping staff.
• Assist with the preparation of reports on housekeeping activities.
• Handle necessary administrative tasks related to housekeeping operations.
