ANIMAL WELFARE ISSUES COORDINATOR (m/f/d)

Your contribution will include:
- Building and sharing expertise on animal welfare issues affecting wild and companion animals, focusing on industry trends, corporate practices, campaigning strategies, public engagement, and regulatory frameworks.
- Supporting the planning and implementation of campaigns and projects in collaboration with both national and international teams, with a particular emphasis on the French-speaking region of Switzerland (Suisse romande).
- Contributing to the research and analysis of scientific literature, government policies, market developments, and corporate practices to inform campaign planning and identify relevant opportunities.
- Assisting in the creation of campaign outputs with internal teams.
- Participating in organization-wide discussions and fostering knowledge sharing across teams to maximize our collective impact for animals.
- Engaging with external stakeholders in Suisse romande, representing FOUR PAWS Switzerland in relevant meetings, working groups, media interactions, and presentations.
Your profile ideally illustrates:
- A passion for animal welfare and alignment with FOUR PAWS' vision and mission.
- A degree or initial professional experience in a relevant field such as animal welfare, biology, campaigning, veterinary medicine, communications, marketing, political science, law, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of the current animal welfare situation in Switzerland.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in French (spoken and written), very good English skills, and the ability to communicate confidently in German.
- Motivation, adaptability, and a drive to make an impact.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to transform complex issues into engaging and accessible narratives.
- Willingness to occasionally work at weekend events.
