Job Opportunity: Quality Control Analyst

Proclinical is on the lookout for a Quality Control Analyst to become a vital part of our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. This role involves conducting biochemical analyses and ensuring compliance with GMP standards within a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with various biochemical methods, including ELISA, PCR, enzymatic activity assays, Western Blot, or HPLC, along with a solid understanding of laboratory practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform biochemical analyses and oversee activities in accordance with laboratory procedures and GMP standards.
  • Prepare necessary solutions for laboratory analyses.
  • Adhere to all current procedures and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations.
  • Accurately complete documentation, logbooks, and forms in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ALCOA principles.
  • Promptly report non-conforming or invalid results to the supervisor and initiate quality system events within the required timeframe.
  • Manage laboratory investigations and resolve minor issues within your area of expertise.
  • Execute protocols for the qualification of reagents, validation of consumables, and validation of system/equipment methods.
  • Ensure that equipment calibration and maintenance are up to date before analysis.
  • Maintain real-time Kanban management and connect procedural deviations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to 5S standardization practices.
  • Assist in the overall organization and cleanliness of the laboratory.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related scientific field (e.g., laboratory technician CFC or equivalent).
  • Experience in a QC laboratory within a cGMP environment.
  • Proficiency in techniques such as electrophoresis, HPLC, ELISA, or enzymatic activity determination is preferred.
  • Fluency in French and technical proficiency in English.
  • Swiss or European nationality, or a valid Swiss work permit.
  • Experience in writing validation protocols for methods is a plus.
