Join Our Team as a Senior Operational Excellence Champion
Become a key player in our site transformation and help shape the future of Biomanufacturing. In this pivotal role, you will lead our initiatives to enhance manufacturing and business processes at one of our most strategic sites. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation aligned with Takeda's Agile Operating System (AOS), both on site and across the Biologics unit.
Your Contributions
Reporting to the Head of Business Excellence, you will drive efficiency, reduce waste, and help us achieve our operational performance and value creation targets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and implementing Lean and Six Sigma projects for Operations and Support functions (Lean Office) by leveraging Agile Operating System and Digital Innovation.
- Facilitating Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and complex problem-solving sessions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for targeted process improvements.
- Embracing digital technology and data analysis for effective process optimization.
- Supporting the design of the Business Process and Factory of the Future.
- Applying Organizational Change Management in Lean & Six Sigma projects.
- Building a culture of continuous improvement through training, coaching, and acting as a proactive Business Partner with operational leaders.
- Leading the strategy deployment process and aligning operational excellence goals with stakeholders.
- Ensuring safety, compliance, and risk management in all initiatives.
- Tracking key performance indicators, identifying performance gaps, and recommending actionable solutions.
What You Bring to Takeda
- Master’s degree in technical fields.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing or operations management with a focus on Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement.
- A background in operational or technical domains (e.g., quality, engineering, manufacturing).
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Management, Hoshin Kanri, and problem-solving methodologies (Lean or Lean Six Sigma certification – Black Belt level).
- Experience in Business Process Management (BPR, BPM).
- Demonstrated success in Organizational Change Management.
- Proven success in improving key performance indicators.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Capability to manage cross-functional teams and lead projects from inception to completion.
- Knowledge of business operations and financial management.
- Experience in highly regulated environments, including regulatory compliance and quality systems.
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Proficiency with manufacturing software (e.g., SAP, MES, Minitab).
- Proficient in MS Office, AI, and digital innovation tools.
- Fluency in English and French.
