All-round Service Technician Railway Infrastructure

As an All-round Service Technician Railway Infrastructure for an international leader in railway infrastructure, you'll be part of a dedicated team that responds swiftly to malfunctions, ensuring safe and efficient train operations. This role involves working with a variety of systems and components, including switch systems and signaling installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair, adjust, replace, and maintain switch systems, compensation joints, and crossings.
  • Revise and restore switch control systems.
  • Install and test electric and fluid-controlled switch heating systems.
  • Quickly analyze and resolve malfunctions in signaling installations.
  • Participate in a 24/7 fault service (approximately once every four weeks).
  • Communicate on-site with contractors and provide direct technical advice.

What We're Looking For

  • At least an MBO-2 work and thinking level.
  • A background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechanics, or civil engineering.
  • Ability and willingness to work during nights and weekends regularly.
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the Netherlands for service calls.
  • Quick learner with a practical orientation who is eager to develop in a specialized field.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused when faced with high-pressure situations that require urgent resolutions.

What You Will Receive

  • A competitive salary between €3,500 and €4,800 gross per month, excluding irregularity allowances, plus a fixed year-end bonus.
