Your Opportunity

Are you ready to transform ideas into reality through Additive Manufacturing (AM)? If you thrive in dynamic, cross-functional environments and are passionate about industrializing advanced AM technologies, this is your chance to join our agile team at Accelleron’s global headquarters in Baden, Switzerland.

In this newly created role, reporting to the Head of Manufacturing Technology & Investments, you'll play a pivotal role in the industrialization of AM for turbocharger components. You will work hands-on with advanced metal AM processes and support the entire value chain—from design and production to quality assurance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and evaluate AM part requests, planning and executing operations using CAD, CAM, and ERP tools.
  • Oversee all stages of AM operations, including design, build preparation, post-processing, quality control, and documentation.
  • Analyze in-situ and post-print data to drive continuous improvement and support the industrialization and commercialization of AM.
  • Develop a deep understanding of AM process chains to identify optimization opportunities; utilize first principles and root cause analysis to provide technical recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support material, process, and part qualification by creating and implementing robust quality assurance methods and processes.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Value Chain, and Product teams to streamline AM and qualification processes for turbocharger parts, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Act as a cross-functional liaison between R&D, engineering, operations, and business teams—translating technical insights into impactful outcomes.

Your Background

  • A degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering with a focus on metal manufacturing technologies, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional or academic experience in design, process development, or operations in the metal AM industry.
  • Hands-on expertise in Laser Powder Bed Fusion is essential; Design for AM is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD and metal AM build preparation (CAM) tools.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a strong passion for Additive Manufacturing.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams; project management skills are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English required; proficiency in German is an asset.
