We are seeking an experienced Accountant for our client, a prominent reinsurance company located in Zurich. You will become an integral part of the General Accounting department, focusing on establishing IFRS and Local GAAP accounts. Reporting to the Head of General Accounting, the successful candidate will join a motivated and open-minded team dedicated to a collaborative and flexible work environment built on trust and support.
Your Responsibilities
- Daily accounting entries in SAP
- Preparation of payments
- Preparation of reports and analytics
- Substitution in asset accounting and accounts payable
- Support during quarter-closings for IFRS and Local GAAP
Your Profile
- Commercial employee degree, certified accountant clerk, or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience, ideally in the finance industry
- Strong numerical aptitude
- Quick learner with excellent technical skills
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA (Fiori Apps) and strong Excel skills
- Proactive team player with good communication skills, flexibility, precision, and an independent work style
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive working and learning environment
- Good command of both German and English
