Join Our Nautical Team as a 1st Captain

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises owns and operates a fleet of eleven intimate, boutique river cruise ships on the European waterways, catering exclusively to English-speaking clients. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our Nautical Team in the role of 1st Captain.

Key Responsibilities

• Navigating the ship according to company guidelines and safety regulations
• Ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew onboard
• Maintaining our ships during the operational season and winter months
• Professionally managing the Nautical Team
• Facilitating communication onboard with the Hotel Manager and Cruise Manager

What We Look For

• Experience in a similar role on the Rhine-Main-Danube
• Knowledge of Z-Drive systems (not mandatory)
• A valid license for the Rhine until Mainz and/or Danube
• Innovative, flexible, and proactive leadership skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in German and/or English
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Willingness to learn and grow within your role
