Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise all pastry, bakery, and dessert items according to Uniworld standards and HACCP hygiene procedures.
• Ensure excellent product quality, with consistency in taste, texture, and temperature.
• Organize daily work efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and order in the pastry area.
• Supervise and train assigned pastry staff, ensuring smooth and timely service.
• Manage inventory, storage, and stock control, including FIFO, labeling, and temperature checks.
• Minimize waste and report any issues or equipment defects to the Executive Chef.
• Support Uniworld’s “Up Serve” guest experience philosophy.

Specific Requirements

• Proven pastry experience in 4- or 5-star hotels and/or cruise ships.
• Accredited Pastry Culinary School education.
• Strong knowledge of modern pastry trends and techniques.
• Exceptional eye for elegant presentation and detail.
• Actively participate in assigned learning activities, training sessions, and mandatory safety or emergency drills.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in English.
