Your Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, professional service, anticipating guest needs with personal touches.
  • Coordinate concierge services and report arranged services in the Hotel Manager’s Cruise Report.
  • Own and follow up on guest requests or complaints, escalating to the Hotel Manager as needed.
  • Oversee and coordinate Front Office operations, including guest/crew check-in/out, billing, cashier duties, currency exchange, questionnaires, records, and excursion bookings.
  • Manage onboard money flow, including safe operations, daily cashier responsibilities, deposits, and compliance with GRC rules.
  • Handle cruise and monthly closing processes encompassing invoices, credit card settlements, cash books, city ledgers, revenue, F&B inventory, transfers, company accounts, reports, audits, and profitability analysis.
  • Control delivery notes for all onboard supplies.
  • Responsibly handle IT and payment equipment; report any technical issues promptly.

Specific Requirements

  • Supervise, train, and appraise Front Office employees, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with working hour regulations.
  • Act as the Hotel Manager during absences or holiday rotations, issuing professional directives to officers and crew as required.
  • Support the Hotel Manager in maintaining GRC administrative and hospitality standards.
  • Ensure impeccable cleanliness at the Front Desk and other hospitality areas.
  • Participate in daily briefings, end/start-of-season preparations, and supply loading.
  • Comply with working hour regulations and attend training and safety drills.
  • Possess excellent computer and IT skills.
  • Actively participate in assigned learning activities, training sessions, and mandatory safety or emergency drills.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written; fluency in additional languages such as German, French, Portuguese, or Italian is beneficial.
