Join Our Nautical Team as a 1st Captain

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises operates a fleet of eleven intimate, boutique river cruise ships cruising the stunning waterways of Europe, exclusively serving English-speaking clients. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our Nautical Team in the role of 1st Captain.

Your Responsibilities

• Navigating the ship according to company guidelines and safety regulations
• Ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew on board
• Maintaining our ships during the cruising season and the winter
• Professionally managing the Nautical Team
• Communicating effectively on board with the Hotel Manager and Cruise Manager

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in a similar role on the Rhine-Main-Danube
• Experience with Z-Drive systems is a plus (not mandatory)
• Licensing for the Rhine up to Mainz and/or Danube
• An innovative, flexible, proactive leader and team player
• Fluency in German and/or English for effective communication
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A eagerness to learn and grow within the role
