Technical Writer (IT/Infrastructure/Applications)
Duration: 6+ months - Fully Remote - Start ASAP
We are seeking an experienced technical writer for our international client in the IT Infrastructure and Applications sector. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the client by producing technical documentation and target operating models while assisting the Infrastructure and Applications team with document creation, amendment, and replacement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical writer
- Support the Infrastructure and Applications team in technical document creation, amendment, and replacement
- Create technical documents, including target operating models and disaster recovery plans
- Develop new technical project templates
- Replace or update outdated templates and documents
- Organize documentation in shared systems
- Review the accessibility of documents and templates for the team
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a technical writer in the IT domain
- Project experience in drafting technical documents related to infrastructure and applications
- Strong proficiency with SharePoint and JIRA
- Experience with ServiceNow and the Office 365 suite, particularly PowerPoint
- Familiarity with AI tools for automating document creation is a plus
- Fluency in English is essential
- Nearshore candidates preferred
Project Details:
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Initial contract until the end of the year, with the possibility of extending to 6-12 months
- Workload: 5 days per week
- Location: Fully remote
