Job Description
This role combines applied chemistry knowledge with quantitative data analysis to evaluate fertilizer products and raw materials, verify product and quality specifications, and generate the technical and market intelligence that underpins commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and analytical support to the company’s fertilizer sourcing, product development, and trading activities.
- Conduct data analysis and market support.
- Analyze technical products and specifications.
- Support sourcing, suppliers, counterparties, and product stewardship initiatives.
- Offer technical and analytical support to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Requirements
- Integrated master’s degree in chemistry (M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent) with a first-class or distinction classification and an outstanding academic record.
- Strong background in chemical sciences with the ability to understand and evaluate complex technical information.
- Genuine interest in agriculture, crop nutrition, and commodity markets.
- Practical data analysis and programming skills, particularly in Python.
- Excellent scientific and technical writing abilities.
- Capability to interpret product specifications, laboratory reports, and analytical data independently.
- Understanding of safe chemical handling, storage, and disposal practices.
- Languages: English, Russian, German.
