Technical Architect - 6 Month Contract Role - Remote (EU)

On behalf of one of our key partners, RED is excited to present a contract opportunity for a Technical Architect to join a new project! The initial contract is set for 6 months, with potential for long-term engagement. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the EU.

About the Role

In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of full-stack solutions, blending solution architecture with hands-on development and technical leadership. You will collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand and refine requirements, while designing solutions across various areas, including:

• Frontend development
• Backend systems
• APIs and integrations
• Authentication
• Cloud infrastructure and deployment

Your active involvement in coding and delivery is essential. You should possess strong hands-on experience with:

• React or Angular
• AWS (particularly Amplify, Lambda, and API Gateway)
• Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps)
• REST APIs and system integrations
• Authentication and SSO solutions

You will lead technical delivery by guiding developers, conducting design and code reviews, resolving technical challenges, and making key architectural decisions. Your responsibilities will encompass taking solutions from initial ideation through development, deployment, and ongoing production support.

Desired Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a technical architect or lead
• Strong hands-on full-stack development experience
• Proficiency in React or Angular
• Experience with AWS, specifically Amplify, Lambda, and API Gateway
• Expertise in Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps
• Knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations
• Experience with Authentication and SSO
• Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end solution architecture and ownership
• Strong stakeholder/business-facing experience
• Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills in English
