SAP Integration Suite Engineer

Duration: 3+ months

Location: 100% Remote (CET time zone)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Suite Engineer to join our international client's project team. In this hands-on delivery role, you will work within an Agile framework to support software engineering across the SAP Integration Suite, designing, building, and deploying integration flows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Software Engineer for the SAP Integration Suite.
• Design, build, and deploy integration flows using the SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
• Lead or contribute to the migration from PI/PO to CPI, assessing existing interfaces, re-platforming iFlows, and validating parity post-migration.
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to translate integration requirements into scalable, reusable designs.
• Support hybrid landscape integration scenarios (cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premise).
• Integrate with event-streaming (Kafka) and microservices (Quarkus) components as part of broader data/integration architecture where applicable.
• Create technical documentation to ensure best practices and compliance.

Requirements:

• Experience as a System Engineer or Designer.
• Over 4 years of experience with the SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Project experience in building, deploying, and supporting iFlows.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC/ERP (ABAP stack) and the integration layer.
• Must have experience in PI/PO to CPI migration projects.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns: REST, SOAP, IDoc, OData, EDI, B2B.
• Experience with adapters (HTTP, SFTP, ProcessDirect, JDBC, Mail, etc.) and standard/custom mapping (Groovy scripting, XSLT).
• Working knowledge of security artifacts (OAuth, certificates, credential management).
• Project experience with an agile delivery model (Scrum/SAFe).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kafka, Quarkus.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerized deployment of integration components.
• Experience in international projects.
• Fluency in English.
