Job Description

As a System Engineer Customer Solutions, you will work where complex systems, software, and customer requirements converge. You will be responsible for bringing systems into operation worldwide, analyzing issues to their root cause, and translating customer needs into robust, practical solutions. This role is ideal for engineers who take ownership, delve deeply into technical challenges, and seek to create a visible impact.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support installation teams and customers during system commissioning and handover.
• Analyze and resolve both software and hardware issues, both internally and at customer sites.
• Specify customer-specific system and software requirements, collaborating closely with product management.
• Test and qualify system software and new system components to ensure quality.
• Maintain technical system documentation and coordinate technical topics across service, engineering, and product management.

What You Should Bring

• A technical background with a degree in system engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in vacuum technology, semiconductor industry, or equipment engineering is a plus.
• A hands-on mindset, working independently and solution-oriented, even in complex situations.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and German, with a willingness to travel approximately 10% worldwide.
