Job Opportunity: IT Infrastructure Engineer

Our client is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer who can efficiently manage and maintain the site's IT infrastructure while coordinating technical projects and collaborating with external service providers. The ideal candidate will possess extensive IT infrastructure experience and exhibit the capability to oversee projects from requirements analysis through to successful implementation.

• Autonomous, proactive, and well-organized, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience working effectively with international remote teams and communicating clearly with various stakeholders.
• Adept at anticipating needs, structuring activities, and drafting necessary documentation with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a laboratory environment and familiarity with GxP regulations are valuable assets, given the regulated nature of the activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain local IT infrastructure, including workplace devices, networks, and telecommunications.
• Coordinate IT projects from initial planning through to implementation.
• Oversee external IT service providers to ensure high service quality.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents and provide specialized technical support.
• Maintain IT documentation and support quality compliance activities.
• Collaborate with international teams and local stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure and Microsoft 365.
• Strong autonomy, organizational skills, and project management capabilities.
• Experience in regulated environments; knowledge of laboratories and GxP regulations is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
