Background

As a vital component of the Global Supply Chain in Rotkreuz, the OEM Global Planning department plays a key role in ensuring the timely delivery of essential healthcare products to individuals worldwide. The Finished Goods Drop-Shipment Process team within this department is responsible for providing global drop-shipment services. We serve as the first point of contact for drop-shipment inquiries, supporting our Global Planning team and other cross-functional functions. Our goal is to implement comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) processes while ensuring smooth business operations.

The Perfect Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess a commercial degree with a background in logistics, purchasing, or import & export. This individual will have a proven history of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, coupled with in-depth SAP knowledge. The candidate should be an independent worker who demonstrates a high level of accountability and fluency in English is essential.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manage Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) purchase orders with third-party suppliers globally.
• Monitor product availability and on-time delivery, driving actions with third-party suppliers to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate activities between procurement and supply chain functions globally regarding OEM orders.
• Initiate returns to suppliers when necessary and efficiently manage the return process.
• Process and confirm SAP inbound deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory management through virtual goods receipt and goods issue after receiving shipping notifications.
• Monitor system alerts and interfaces, resolving corresponding system messages and issues.
• Lead the onboarding process for third-party suppliers, coordinating activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with documentation and system requirements.
• Optimize the logistics network for drop shipment activities where applicable.

Must Haves

• Basic education in a commercial or technical sector, with additional studies in supply chain management or import/export.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience required (Candidates with more than 10 years of experience may be overqualified).
• Proven experience in order management or buying processes, logistics, and supply chain operations. Experience in a Life Sciences company (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostics, Medical Devices) is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP SD & MM and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) is advantageous.
• Effective communication skills to manage customer and supplier interactions.
• Fluency in both German and English, along with excellent organizational, multitasking, and teamwork abilities.
• An open-minded approach to new methodologies.
