Roche Switzerland bridges the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, hosting vital research and development functions. We are currently seeking an Equipment Management Lead for our esteemed client, Roche Diagnostics International AG in Rotkreuz.
Background
As the Equipment Management Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will spearhead process harmonization by defining, designing, and deploying a robust future ERP solution based on SAP S/4 HANA, along with other cloud/on-premise technology platforms that will serve as the backbone of their future Equipment platform (ASPIRE). This initiative aims to establish simplified, standardized, and harmonized global business processes for Equipment Management within the ION.
In this role, you will also act as the local Change requester for cross-site Equipment Management, ensuring the support, preparation, and readiness of the global P2RFA (Plan to retire fixed assets) template and related operations. Collaboration across multiple functions and a customer-centric approach will be essential.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage equipment, including the creation and maintenance of EQ master data, status monitoring, and support for calibration and maintenance requests.
- Monitor maintenance and calibration orders, review certificates, and create non-conformity reports in case of deviations.
- Drive preparation activities for data migration load cycles in close collaboration with local Equipment Management partners.
- Create test case scenarios through cross-functional collaboration with departments and experts across the ION network to ensure comprehensive end-to-end testing of Equipment Management processes.
- Review and provide input on process changes, gaining an understanding of their impact and risk on both business compliance and final alignment at global and local levels.
- Identify training needs and proactively create training material for Equipment owners and Managers.
- Support maintenance regarding the transition of Mobile Maintenance into Aspire, alongside cost- and time-optimized analyses of internal and external calibrations and maintenance.
Must Haves
- A technical background with significant experience in a manufacturing environment in diagnostics, emphasizing process development.
- Extensive (minimum 5 years) knowledge of process understanding, master data, data coherence, system landscape, integrations, and recognized expertise in the field of Plant Maintenance / Plan to retire fixed assets.
- Conceptual, analytical, and solution-oriented thinking coupled with a high level of teamwork.
- Knowledge of regulated industry practices (GxP Standards) for product and process compliance and sustainment.
- Experience in a project environment, familiarity with a matrix structure, and excellent networking skills.
- Proficiency in SAP (PM), Trello, HP-ALM, and gSuite.
- Strong English language skills.
