Position Overview

As part of the New Engines organisation, you will be instrumental in leading day-to-day operations on the GTF Module Line, which includes the fan, LPC/HPC, combustor, LPT/HPT, and gearbox. Your role will involve organizing people, parts, and methods to ensure safe, compliant, and timely module build and teardown, all while adhering to OEM and authority standards.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan, brief, and steer the Module Line towards daily SQDCP targets: safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people. Act as the point of contact for authorities and customers as needed.
  • Secure method compliance throughout operations.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Material teams to protect the schedule and resolve any blockers.
  • Develop the team through on-the-job training, skills matrix ownership, performance feedback, and corrective coaching.
  • Drive 5S and Lean actions focusing on station balance, takt adherence, WIP limits, and first-time yield.
  • Report on module status with clear KPIs, escalate risks early, and propose recovery plans.

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft/turbine engine maintenance within a shop, hangar, or MRO environment.
  • 5+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance procedures, documentation (AMM/CMM/IPC), safety standards, and quality.
  • Proven ability to manage workflow, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with maintenance documentation systems.
  • Fluent in English (B2+); proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required; experience with SAP is an advantage.
