Join Our Team: Supervisor, GTF Team
Based in the New Engines organization, you will lead day-to-day operations on the GTF Module Line, overseeing the fan, LPC/HPC, combustor, LPT/HPT, and gearbox. You will organize people, parts, and methods to deliver safe, compliant, and on-time module builds and teardowns that meet OEM and authority standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan, brief, and steer the Module Line to achieve daily SQDCP targets: safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people management. Act as a point of contact for authorities and customers as needed.
- Ensure method compliance.
- Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Material to protect schedules and resolve any blockers.
- Develop the team through on-the-job training, skills matrix ownership, performance feedback, and corrective coaching.
- Drive 5S and Lean initiatives focusing on station balance, takt adherence, WIP limits, and first-time yield.
- Report module status with clear KPIs; escalate risks early and propose recovery plans.
Your Profile
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft/turbine engine maintenance in a shop, hangar, or MRO environment.
- 5+ years of experience as a supervisor or lead technician.
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures, documentation (AMM/CMM/IPC), and safety standards and quality.
- Proven ability to manage workflow, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with maintenance documentation systems.
- English B2+ proficiency (German is a plus).
- Microsoft Office skills required; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
