Position: Supervisor - Inspection GTF

As a Supervisor within the New Engines organization, you will oversee the engine shop operational organization, focusing on the module and piece part inspection of GTF engines. You will ensure that the organization and processes meet all operational requirements (KPIs) in accordance with the engine services operational schedule and OEM/regulatory guidelines.

Your Tasks

  • Ensure a workplace that complies with all Safety, Health, and Environmental rules, regulations, and requirements.
  • Ensure quality of workmanship in accordance with all applicable SRT and airworthiness authority rules and regulations.
  • Optimize staff allocation to events for high production efficiency.
  • Instruct staff on any quality deviations, audit findings, and customer complaints, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Assign employees to their jobs and manage vacation planning according to engine scheduling and monitor labor efficiency.
  • Organize support across SR Technics departments to ensure performance, including tools, equipment, and work documentation.
  • Actively manage human resources to maintain skill availability that meets demand.
  • Focus on training and development needs for employees and the department.
  • Execute and promote Continuous Improvements by applying Lean principles to achieve organizational targets.
  • Manage and enhance related processes to achieve key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Drive a performance culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow-ups with all employees.
  • Implement a performance management process (PMP) with a focus on employee motivation.

Your Profile

  • 4 years of technical apprenticeship.
  • Education: Technical education.
  • Operational & managerial experience in the aviation industry.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage allocated manpower and resources.
  • Proven ability to communicate issues to management, including suggested solutions.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures.
  • Good command of verbal and written English (level C1).
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Positive attitude and solution-oriented.
  • High degree of customer focus, both internal and external.
  • Demonstrated good communication skills and team-oriented working abilities.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work in two shifts.
