Your Mission

• Lead the sourcing process by selecting, developing, and managing suppliers
• Critically analyze components to be purchased, identifying cost drivers and technical/process challenges. Propose alternative solutions
• Define and lead cost-saving projects
• Establish and maintain competitive and long-term relationships with suppliers
• Act proactively, keeping clear milestones and cost constraints in mind
• Stay updated on the state of the art of the commodities to be purchased
• Contribute to project roadmap definition (timing, cost) and take action accordingly (supplier selection, qualification)
• Submit requests for quotations and input offer data into the MRP system
• Ensure timely delivery and verify the installed capacity

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in advanced commercial negotiation
• Experience in international sourcing, negotiating contracts, and developing strategic partnerships
• Knowledge of mechanical machined parts (milling, turning, grinding) and surface and heat treatments
• Experience in design-to-cost and manufacturability principles
• Fluent written and spoken English; French is a plus
