Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

Background:

The Stakeholder Engagement Specialist plays a crucial role in executing a global data validation campaign that focuses on the comprehensive and accurate collection of people data during the onboarding and administration processes of external partners. This initiative is vital for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for all partners collaborating with Roche. The Specialist will work closely with Roche Responsible Persons (RRPs) who manage external partners—including contractors, consultants, managed services, and collaborators—by tracking progress, following up on incomplete submissions, and facilitating timely completion of the campaign.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Follow-up
    • Engage with RRPs responsible for managing external partners globally.
    • Follow up with RRPs to ensure timely data collection and validation.
    • Coordinate inquiries regarding data changes with the extended external workforce team.
  • Project Management
    • Monitor completion and validation status across different RRPs.
    • Maintain structured records of outreach efforts and responses.
  • Risk Identification & Escalation
    • Identify potential delays or challenges affecting campaign timelines.
    • Escalate issues and align with the Project & Campaign team as necessary, adhering to a predefined governance model.

Must Haves:

  • A commercial apprenticeship (EFZ - levels B, E, or M); higher education is not required.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, coordination, or operational support roles.
  • Work experience in matrixed, international environments or medium to large corporations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage stakeholders.
  • Intermediate project management abilities, including structured reporting and proactive risk identification.
  • Proficiency with IT tools, particularly Google Workspace.
  • A professional approach to challenging conversations with hesitant stakeholders.
  • A motivated, independent team player with a structured work style and a positive outlook.
  • A flexible mindset capable of pragmatic problem-solving.
  • Fluency in business English.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with Looker Studio.
  • Language skills in German, Spanish, Chinese, or French.
