Position: Shopfloor Support (Waterspider) 100%
As a Shopfloor Support (Waterspider), you will play an essential role in maintaining high operational standards, supporting supervisors and technicians, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the shop.
Your Tasks
- Support the daily operation of the LEAP/GTF Engine Shop by preparing materials and coordinating parts and assemblies according to production priorities.
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing goods and documentation.
- Assist the Supervisor with operational coordination and serve as the interface between production, logistics, and the tool store.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized work environment by applying 5S principles across all work areas.
- Promote and ensure compliance with all Safety, Quality, and Compliance standards and company regulations.
- Identify opportunities to optimize shop processes, improving efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Actively contribute to Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives within the production area.
Your Profile
- Completed technical or logistics apprenticeship (or equivalent professional experience).
- Valid Category B driving license and Swiss forklift license.
- Accurate, reliable, and self-organized working style with a hands-on approach.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- German language skills (B1) and English skills (B2).
- Proactive team player with a strong sense of responsibility and a continuous improvement mindset.
