To support our growing client and project base, we are looking to expand our team in Spreitenbach.

Role Overview: Senior System Engineer

The Senior System Engineer is the backbone of our Engineering and Projects departments, providing essential support to on-site engineers in client projects with specialized knowledge while also contributing to improvements in our internal systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a diverse portfolio of client projects by assisting commissioning engineers.
• Integrate our analyzers with customers' IT infrastructure and control systems to enable seamless data exchange.
• Configure the analyzer GUI and associated services.
• Set up, commission, and tune third-party RMP software suites.
• Provide technical support to commissioning engineers during the commissioning phase.
• Create and maintain all technical documentation including layouts, instructions, and manuals for engineers and customers.
• Respond to service requests at levels 1 through 3 and track activities and results on our service platform.
• Manage health checks and updates for our installed systems, including software deployment, backups, and remote connections.
• Train colleagues and clients on assigned topics and related documentation.
• Travel to client sites for specialized technical support as required.

What You Should Bring:

• At least 5 years of experience as a process engineer in cement or mining.
• Multiple years of experience servicing and maintaining Windows and Linux-based embedded systems.
• Experience in programming PLCs and connecting them to control systems using OPC/fieldbus.
• Familiarity with near-infrared real-time measurement systems.
• A Master's degree in information technology or a related field.
• Experience working with advanced process control software.
• A structured and organized work ethic with a proven ability to manage and document action-oriented tasks effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex topics clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive and results-oriented approach to motivating teams and driving project success.
• Fluency in English and one other language (both written and spoken); minimum A1 level German proficiency is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
