Our client is a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, excelling in both the chemical and biotechnology sectors. They are currently seeking to fill the position of:

Cold Chain Project Coordinator – 7091

Location: Visp, Switzerland
Contract Duration: Start immediately – Contract until 31.12.2026

Role Overview

The Cold Chain Project Coordinator role blends strong project coordination skills with specialized knowledge in temperature-controlled supply chain processes, cold chain solutions, and compliant logistics operations. The successful candidate will support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Cold Chain projects and solutions, ensuring that temperature-sensitive products are managed according to quality, regulatory, and business standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of tailored Cold Chain solutions across the Supply Chain network, adjusting responsibilities based on current business needs.
• Assist the Supply Chain team in managing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality, while maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
• Prepare project proposals, timelines, and schedules for Cold Chain initiatives.
• Coordinate quality controls to ensure deliverables meet established requirements.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring deadlines are met and making necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
• Act as the point of contact for project status, organizing and participating in stakeholder and project team meetings.
• Analyze risks and opportunities related to temperature excursions, packaging concepts, transport lanes, storage conditions, and operational handovers.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Supply Chain network and other stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Possess a relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU Citizenship.
• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Have a focus on Cold Chain projects.
• Demonstrate senior project management experience, particularly in quality remediation, compliance, or material management projects within a highly regulated GMP environment (Pharma, Biotech, or CDMO).
• Possess a solid background in SAP Material Master, material classification, and supplier data collection (SDS / technical specifications), along with hands-on experience in CAPA-like action tracking, quality systems, and audit readiness standards.
• Exhibit effective stakeholder management skills, being a motivational team player with strong communication abilities.
• Fluency in English and German is essential.
• Show good presentation and content creation skills.
• Open to managing administrative tasks as needed.
