Job Opportunity: SAP EWM Consultant (MFS)

RED Global, on behalf of a Key Client Partner, is currently seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant specializing in the Material Flow System (MFS). This pivotal role involves designing, configuring, and implementing automated warehouse solutions, ensuring seamless integration between SAP EWM and automated material handling equipment such as PLCs, conveyors, and AS/RS systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP EWM with a focus on MFS functionality.
• Configure communication channels, telegram structures, and routing logic between SAP EWM and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Collaborate with warehouse automation vendors to ensure system capabilities align with the physical automated hardware.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automated warehouse processes by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in material flow and telegram processing.
• Provide technical and functional guidance during the testing, go-live, and hyper-care phases of automated warehouse deployments.

Technical Skills & Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience as an SAP EWM functional or techno-functional consultant.
• Proven track record of at least two full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations involving MFS.
• Deep understanding of warehouse automation technologies, including Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) and conveyors.
• Strong ability to debug ABAP code, analyze MFS logs, and implement BADIs for custom telegram processing.
• Experience working with S/4HANA decentralized or embedded EWM architectures.
