Job Opportunity: Senior Software Developer / Technical Advisor (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer / Technical Advisor to assist in the rework and optimization of an existing AI solution architecture for our client. Your primary responsibility will be to review the current architecture, identify improvement opportunities, and provide hands-on technical guidance to build scalable and maintainable AI backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and enhance the existing AI solution architecture and backend services.
• Refactor existing code to reduce technical debt.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend architectures.
• Provide technical guidance and challenge existing design decisions using best practices.
• Support the development of AI-enabled backend services, including LLM- and RAG-based solutions.
• Collaborate closely with internal development teams, translating technical findings into actionable recommendations.
• Assist in the operationalization of AI services, focusing on deployment, monitoring, and scalability.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Software Developer with advanced expertise in Python.
• Proven track record in designing, refactoring, and maintaining production-grade AI backend systems.
• Hands-on experience in architecture modernization, system rework, and technical debt reduction.
• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, APIs, and AI orchestration layers.
• Experience with AI Ops / DevOps and operating AI-enabled services.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, containerized applications, authentication, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of SQL, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and Terraform.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal development teams and clearly communicating technical recommendations.
