Job Description
As an Infrastructure Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive program plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies for infrastructure modernization initiatives. Your goal will be to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and pharma industry standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with IT, operations, and business units to execute infrastructure upgrades and system migrations.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating program risks and dependencies; developing contingency plans and documenting lessons learned to ensure successful program delivery and continuous improvement.
- Managing stakeholder communications and expectations through regular status updates and executive briefings, while driving change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new infrastructure systems across the organization.
- Monitoring program performance against key metrics and KPIs; implementing corrective actions to address deviations and optimize team productivity.
- Ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and IT governance frameworks throughout all modernization efforts.
- Collaborating with vendors and external partners to evaluate solutions, manage contracts, and optimize costs.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience leading large-scale IT Infrastructure Transformation Programs in global enterprise environments.
- Strong background in Data Center modernization, infrastructure standardization, and technology lifecycle management.
- Experience delivering Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity, Backup, and Cyber Resilience initiatives.
- Knowledge of infrastructure technologies including networking, virtualization, cloud, storage, monitoring, and automation.
- Experience implementing solutions that improve security, scalability, operational efficiency, and service reliability.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, and infrastructure governance.
- Experience working with global stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional infrastructure teams.
- Background in regulated industries (Pharma, GxP).
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification.
