Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support across life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We regularly collaborate with teams in Audit & Assurance as well as other lines of services, such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects.

In this role, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from the outset, taking on day-to-day responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions.

How you can make an impact

• Act as the main point of contact for pension topics within Deloitte Switzerland.
• Lead a variety of client projects, including M&A transactions, pension fund audits, and valuations.
• Manage the lifecycle of projects from proposals and contracting to delivery and invoicing.
• Engage in business development by identifying opportunities and generating new business with internal and external clients.
• Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and training to performance reviews and promotions.

Who we are looking for

• You hold a university degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
• You are a qualified actuary (Actuary SAA) or hold an equivalent qualification.
• You have experience in an actuarial role, either within the insurance industry or in consulting.
• You possess excellent analytical and communication skills, a strong willingness to learn, and a passion for making an impact while collaborating with diverse teams.
• You are fluent in German and English, with the ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at various levels.
• You have demonstrated business development experience.
