Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Global Downstream Marketing, will spearhead the downstream marketing strategy for the $1.1B Restorative and Prevention business within the dental market. This role involves leading a high-performing team to:

  • Define revenue and margin targets
  • Manage portfolio budgets
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and area-centric messaging
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive focused downstream marketing efforts
  • Expand market share

This position is critical in achieving annual financial targets for the R&P business.

The Impact You’ll Make in This Role

  • Define and evolve the long-term global portfolio strategy
  • Lead the annual portfolio planning process, including opportunity assessment and investment allocation
  • Oversee lifecycle management to optimize market performance and product extensions
  • Foster alignment with R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, and Strategy on unmet needs and innovation roadmaps
  • Collaborate with global upstream marketing to outline product and technology roadmaps
  • Drive global downstream marketing to ensure launch excellence and effective demand generation
  • Act as a strategic partner to corporate development, offering marketing input for M&A and partnership strategies
  • Work with cross-functional leadership to meet portfolio growth expectations
  • Serve on the R&P leadership team, contributing to the long-term success of the business
  • Build and inspire a high-performing team and cultivate future leaders

Your Skills and Expertise

To excel in this role, Solventum requires the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution, with ten (10) years of progressive experience in downstream marketing and sales roles

  • Problem-solving skills with a blend of quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Exceptional communication and presentation capabilities for all levels of leadership
  • In-depth understanding of relevant markets, clinical trends, and healthcare economics

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, accountable environment
  • Leadership experience in marketing and/or sales within a large med tech/med device organization

Work Location and Travel Requirements

Work location: Remote within Switzerland

Travel: 30% domestic and international travel required
