Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Global Downstream Marketing, will lead the downstream marketing strategy for our $1.1B Restorative and Prevention business in the dental market. This role is key to defining revenue and margin targets and developing effective go-to-market strategies supported by data analytics to boost segment share. You will be accountable for meeting annual financial goals for the Restorative and Prevention business.

The Impact You’ll Make in This Role

  • Define and evolve the long-term global portfolio strategy.
  • Lead annual portfolio planning, including opportunity assessment and investment allocation.
  • Manage lifecycle optimization for in-market performance and product extensions.
  • Align with R&D, Clinical Affairs, and Regulatory teams on unmet needs and innovation pathways.
  • Partner with global upstream marketing to shape product and technology roadmaps.
  • Ensure launch excellence, sales enablement, and demand generation through global downstream marketing.
  • Serve as a strategic partner for the Strategy and Corporate Development teams on marketing and portfolio matters related to M&A opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to meet portfolio growth goals.
  • Contribute as a senior leader on the Restorative and Prevention leadership team, vital for the long-term health of the business.
  • Inspire and lead a high-performing team, fostering future leadership.

Your Skills and Expertise

To succeed in this role, Solventum requires the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, with ten (10) years of progressive experience in downstream marketing and sales roles.

Additional qualifications that could enhance your candidacy include:

  • Strong financial acumen in business case development.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to utilize quantitative and qualitative analyses for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with experience engaging senior leadership and field representatives.
  • Deep understanding of relevant markets, clinical trends, and healthcare economics.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and vision capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-accountability, action-oriented environment.
  • Marketing and/or sales leadership experience in a large med tech or medical device company.

Work Location and Travel

This position offers a remote work opportunity within Switzerland and requires approximately 30% domestic and international travel. Relocation assistance is not authorized.
