Job Title: Senior Lead - Outdoor Footwear

This role is centered around a deep passion for the Outdoor footwear product line, encompassing trail running, hiking, and urban outdoor-inspired products. From initial briefings to market insights, color stories, and impactful sales pitches, this position covers the entire spectrum. You will engage in strategic collaboration across apparel and other key verticals that play a crucial role in the product line's success.

The Senior Lead will report to the Director of Product Outdoor on the Global Product Strategy team.

Your Mission:

  • Create world-class product briefs that align with consumer/athlete targets, key business metrics, storytelling and inspiration, and the competitive landscape, all of which feed into the broader Outdoor strategy.
  • Develop well-defined 365 color, graphic, and material briefs aligned with seasonal business goals.
  • Own the seasonal product roadmap and manage the end-to-end execution of inline product releases from concept to market.
  • Maintain a vigilant focus on the active outdoor marketplace, particularly footwear, with an insightful eye for macro shifts, regional insights, industry-defining innovations, and mass market trends.
  • Lead, align, and collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Innovation, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations to ensure seamless and timely execution of the inline collection.
  • Build essential stakeholder relationships across regions to share insights, organize team travel and inspiration trips, and narrate stories through the lens of the consumer.
  • Analyze global product performance and commercial metrics, translating sell-through data and consumer feedback into actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and future category planning.

Your Story:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle for a major brand's product line; experience in footwear and outdoor products is a plus (e.g., trail running, hiking, and urban-inspired products).
  • 3+ years of experience developing and integrating creative consumer insights and storytelling into a comprehensive 3-5 year long-range strategic product plan (LRP).
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, particularly in conveying complex product strategies to executive leadership (C-level), global teams, and external business accounts.
  • A recognized industry expert with a meticulous "product eye," experienced in identifying and implementing micro-innovations that enhance consumer experience, value, and product performance.
  • A strong ability to work with excellence and diligence in a fast-paced, ever-evolving product environment while prioritizing the overarching Outdoor Footwear strategy.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
