Job Opportunity: Senior Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Engineer with extensive experience in leading technical engineering activities and developing electronic products from conception to industrialization. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Desired Experience

The ideal candidate will possess experience in:

• Leading and coordinating technical engineering projects with multiple stakeholders
• Analog and digital electronic design and product sizing
• Requirements analysis and definition of technical specifications for electronic boards and sub-assemblies
• System architecture definition, function allocation, and technical solution selection
• Design reviews and considerations for industrialization and manufacturability
• PCB design
• Defect analysis and structured troubleshooting throughout the full development lifecycle
• Integration, validation, and qualification support
• Coordination with suppliers and subcontractors, focusing on co-engineering, performance follow-up, and technical alignment
• Technical contributions during bid and development phases, including cost, planning, and reporting support
• A strong analytical mindset, structured problem-solving skills, and decision-making autonomy
• Experience in the space industry and familiarity with ECSS standards

Main Responsibilities

The selected candidate will join an international engineering environment and will be involved in:

• Leading and coordinating engineering activities across electronics development projects
• Translating requirements into clear technical specifications for boards and electronic sub-systems
• Contributing to the definition of system architecture and identifying the most suitable technical solutions
• Executing detailed design work while supporting design and industrialization reviews
• PCB design
• Managing technical topics with external suppliers and co-engineering partners, ensuring delivery quality and timelines
• Driving defect resolution and supporting integration and validation activities throughout all development phases
• Providing technical input during bid and project execution, including support for project management on cost, schedule, and reporting topics
