Job Description

The Platform Engineering area at SMG Real Estate manages the Internal Development Platform that supports the development, maintenance, and management of our products.

Platform Engineering consists of two teams: Developer Experience (DevX) and Infrastructure. We are actively seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our DevX team.

As a member of DevX, you will:

• Collaborate with engineers to understand their challenges and improve their experience.
• Utilize your knowledge to help build the optimal development platform for our engineering teams.
• Define processes, frameworks, and best practices for development across the Real Estate business unit.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying product components.
• Support the automation and "as code" provisioning of the underlying infrastructure that underpins our products.

Qualifications

Must-haves:

• A passion for enhancing engineers' productivity and work experience.
• Strong English communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience with TypeScript.
• 2+ years of experience with Vue.js, particularly with version 3.
• 2+ years of experience with Node.js.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in Developer Experience or Platform Engineering.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda.
• Understanding of AWS CDK.
• Experience implementing deployment pipelines, especially using GitHub Actions.
• Experience in maintaining component libraries.
