RA Scale AG is an ETH Zurich spin-off dedicated to developing an AI-powered SaaS platform that automates tenders and supplier selection in the construction industry. Based in Zurich, our team of around 20 professionals is currently expanding into Germany and Austria, and we are looking for talented individuals to join us on this exciting journey.
Responsibilities
- Setting up, operating, and further developing the cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) for our SaaS platform.
- Planning and implementing infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Administering and optimizing Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE).
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, TeamCity, or ArgoCD).
- Implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system stability.
- Collaborating closely with software engineers and data scientists to optimize performance.
- Ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of productive systems.
- Contributing to architectural and design decisions in close coordination with the CTO.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud engineering (AWS or GCP).
- Strong proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
- Experience in building and operating microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), event-driven architectures, and monitoring tools.
- Programming skills in Python, Bash, or Node.js are a plus.
- Experience in leading or coordinating small engineering teams is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure security and cloud governance.
- Excellent English skills (working language), with German as a plus.
Terms of Employment
- Permanent full-time position (100%).
- Location: Zurich (Sihlcity) or remote within Europe.
