Your Role
Are you passionate about designing, building, and integrating attractive digital products and services? We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and take our digital offerings to the next level.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees.
- Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Embed observability into our solutions, monitor production health, assist in resolving incidents, and address the root causes of risks and issues.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Your Team
You will be working in the POD Modern Technologies team (focused on "Improve the Bank") based in Zürich.
Your Expertise
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science.
- 10+ years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer / Senior Software Engineer.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Actions Management within the finance sector.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with the following S&P Global standard applications:
- IMActions
- IMBridge
- IMTest
- IMDashboard
- IMProxy
- IMConfigure
- IMArchival
- A willingness to learn new technologies and practices, reusing strategic platforms and standards, evaluating options, and making decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to make presentations and write technical documentation.
- Extensive experience and deep knowledge in:
- Linux/Unix
- Python
- GitLab
- CI/CD
- Shell Scripting
- Ansible
- IBM MQ
- Oracle DB & SQL
- Java
- Azure
- Spring Boot
- Spring Batch
- JMS
- Apache Webserver
- Tomcat Web Container
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Kotlin, Maven, Elastic, Logstash, Perl, .dun & .rpm packages.
- Basic German (A2).
